Fourth Season DVD ruined with edited episodes !

It seems the greedy bastards at Sony decided to use syndicated prints for SEVEN (!) episodes on the fourth season set.

Oddly, "Rain Girl" is edited, yet unedited on the "Best of" set released earlier..

My guess is that they dont give a damn about "complete" seasons anymore, so many other DVDs (ALF s1, ALF s2, Diffrent Strokes s1, Roseanne s1 and more...) are released with syndicated prints that they figure that the audiences will buy any crap released.

I for one, will not buy a SINGLE dvd until they release the REAL "Complete" fourth season.

I am only askin WHY.

What's the advantage of releasing syndicated versions??

PS: Still no answer from Sony Europe belonging to the European Version of S4.

He was only asking if they are going to release Season 4 in Europe.
They just wrote back, "Yes, we are going to release Season 4".

He didn't ask about the syndication.
I did twice...

still.. 2-3 minutes are cut out of seven season four episodes.. and i wanna know why.

2-3 minutes PER episode yes.
So they are 20-21 minutes each instead of 22-24 minutes.

Thats a total of 21 minutes cut out from the DVD.. almost one ENTIRE episode.

i hope that the German Version are Uncut. Because we have the Original Tape from the Episodes. So i hope Sony brings us the Uncut Version.

well.. Sony makes the Region 1 releases, then converts it to Region 2 for us.. so we're all out of luck i think =/ but yea who knows since your german dubbed eps should be unedited...

The Fans want the DVD`s. Sony know it. We are the Slaves from the Productions Company i think.

That's what I asked them.

I hope that they have copies of the original us-mastertapes and take them just adding the other language layers over it.
