MWC's IMDb rating?

Anyone notice the significant drop in MWC's overall rating on IMDb? It now has 8.3

Not long ago (less than a year) it had an 8.6, a year or so before that it had an 8.8. A three point drop in less than a year is very unusual. Anyone know if they've adapted a new rating system or something?

Modern Family has also gone down from 9. something to 8.8 very recently.

I have no idea if they changed something in the rating alorithm, but it's kind of strange.
Both have a very low rating from imdb-stuff members - but I don't think that their rating has more weight than the others.

I guess its IMDb rating hasn't really bothered me because I thought it was hovering around the 7.5 mark.

I assume some very stupid people gave it a low rating.

Take solace in the fact that the rating with the most votes (over 40%) is 10.

Hi Marriedaniac...

I have to wonder if any change in ratings could be
1/ due to a faltering economy... More people canceling their Cable or satellite service
2/ reruns of the show not being aired lately

Internet?

Sure they do, but why would lower TV ratings make people give bad ratings on IMDb?
