I've seen in it here in Calgary, but I didn't get it. I'll try it someday.

So basically can I take bratwurst from my local Foodies and put some curry sauce on it? Is that all there is to it?

you woukld think so doc. i've tried but it's just not the same. for the curry try 2 tablesppons of curry powder, 1 teaspoon paprika, and 4 oz ketchup. the only german restraunt in phoenix refuses to make it because they considered street food.

Whoo Hoo! I found some at a German place near me. They only serve it for lunch. I'm gonna get some today. I'll let you know how it tastes. http://rheinlandrestaurant.com/lunch-menu.html

Ich bin ein Berliner! It was very good. Had some kind of fried potatoes with it and some homemade German potato salad. Also some apple caramel strusel a la mode and washed it down with some hot gluhwein!

Sorry, but I've to say that this is from Austria :)

Btw: I tried the Currywurst this summer when I was in Bavaria, but I wasn't so surprised about it. Maybe because I know the Sausage itself - it's a common "Bratwurst".

What I had looked like this photo but I think it was some kind of sauce. I suppose it was ketchup and curry stirred together. High quality ketchup no doubt.

Alles ausser Currywurst kommt aus Österreich :) - ich weiss es eh nicht. Aber ich würde sagen es ist typischer für Österreich.
Naja, und im Dateipfad kommt auch "vienna" vor.
