He's got a cool little role in The Spanish Prisoner. I remember seeing it in the theater and I didn't know he was in the movie and he just appeared on the screen. The last person you would expect in this kind of movie. I almost cheered.

My cousin was in a movie of the week with O'Niel back in the 1980s. I saw him over Thanksgivng weekend and I asked what he was like. My cousin was 9yrs old at the time but he said they ate Breakfast together almost everyday for 2 months. Said he was a very nice guy and always making everyone laugh.

He's on some new show now in a smaller role. I have not seen the show but I think its a good move for him to play an ensemble kind of character. You know that way the whole show isn't riding on him and people can slowly get used to him playing a different kind of part than Al Bundy. He was a little ambitious trying to be the star again. Too many failures like that and no one will bank on you anymore. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0814164/

I've seen one episode this summer in Canada.
All I can say, that he looks sooooo old.
The storyline of the serie is a bit too dramatic for me.

I think that after 11 years of starring in a show, it's only natural to want to move on to other shows as a leading star, and the movies he's been in has not been centralized on him or his character. Needless to say I don't think he has an ego or anything.

This new show seems interesting, I hope it makes its was to Sweden.Too bad it's already cancelled though.

You can say that again Admin, he does look very old. Kinda breaks your heart doesn't it? Katey seems to be aging rather well.

I agree with you Axel. I think is natural to want to be the lead again but I'm not sure its the right move when you are so connected to a certain character. I was thinking of John Travolta. You remember he was so good in Saturday Night Fever and then he just couldn't get his feet off the ground again until he took a small role for only a hundred grand in Pulp Fiction. Now he's an A-List celebrity with a Jumbo-Jet he pulls right up to his house. Now that's the way to regroup. Humble yourself a bit. I'm with you though on Ed's character. He doesn't strike me as an egotist or anything. How could he be after portraying a huge loser for 11 years? :)
