I just sent him a message on Facebook, will let you know if I get a reply, or even a "seen".
I haven't heard from him in 4 years.

Well I stumbled across this site in my search to find out what happened to BUNDYOLOGY.com.

I did speak to the webmaster as I has done so many times in the past, I have contributed to the site and was even listed as such. I emailed him about why the site had not been updated in so long and he responded:

I wrote in about May to see if you are still running your webpage. I hope so, it would be a shame for it to go in to Internet Hibernation. I am a former contributor to the site and would like to continue to be so. I hope this email finds you well and you respond.

Thank you very much.

Theoretically yes, but updates are very low priority. I might update the foreign MwC version pages this fall. In any case ill leave the existing information online!

Thanks for your interest!

Andreas

So I don't think he shut down the site I think as he has said that he is in the process of updating things and might have to take it offline to do so. Now it could be his time to reup on the payment for the site. This happens from time to time and if you don't notice it is time then the site goes down till it is renewed.

Best thing to do is just wait for him to do so, he already has been notified about the site being down so I am sure it is in the process of being taken care of.

Awesome, thanks for the info! Too bad he and you haven't found your way to this forum (until now for your part).

Well I don't want to be to negative, but I don't think that this might be the case.
If you do some updates you don't take the site down.
I did several realy big updates even changed providers/servers and the site was never longer down than a few hours.

But the good think is that he told you that he has no plans for putting the site down.
But even stranger why it is so long offline and he doesn't react to mails.

Here some technical details:
Domain created: 1999-11-27
Last Update on Domain record: 2014-08-06
Expiration Date: 2014-11-27 (if the domain will not be renewed till than, it can be bought by other persons)

So he's a got month, let's hope he does it. What does something like that cost? I would certainly contribute if that is an issue.

Yep, he's not very active there, nothing too recent.

Glad someone got a response! We stayed tuned, I guess.

Not very much.
Domain 20 Bucks per year.
Webspace in the case of bundyology (no database, no interactivity) - a few bucks extra.

Not very active? What does that mean? Is there a last online datestamp or when was his last posting?

But the resonse war before the site was shut down.

Maybe I still have a trauma from "Lucky"... :(

Oops, I misread the date. :(

On facebook, the last post he was tagged in (by someone else, so he did not tag it himself) is from September last year, and before that, he 'liked' something in April. Nothing from this year.

What do you mean by another "Lucky"?

Was it not the user "Marcy Rhoades" (updated, I thought it was Lucky) who disappeared from one day to the other?

No, you are thinking of Marcy Rhoades, who not only disappeared but removed ALL her posts in the process, leaving big gaps in threads.
